TEAMBUILDING
Using both traditional and unconventional methods, we help organizations identify and overcome obstacles that may be impeding their teamwork, and ultimately help teams enhance their ability to work together effectively as one unit. Some of our teambuilding sessions focus on exploring and identifying behavioral styles and traits on a team and how to leverage individual strengths and talents. Other teambuilding programs include adventure-based initiatives that challenge teams to work together towards a common goal. In all, of our teambuilding sessions participants
learn various ways to work together more effectively as a team; but most of all the programs are fun, highly energized experiences that
spark a renewed sense of teamwork and partnership amongst the group.

Diversity
Participants in this session choose word descriptors from a deck of cards, which reveal their individual thinking-style preference. Through discussion, team members begin to appreciate there are no right or wrong thinking styles. Rather, they discover that what you need to create the most effective, diverse-thinking team is a diverse representation of all styles.
Go Fly A Kite
In this exercise, participants are grouped into teams and each team receives a set of tools and materials to assist them in building a kite that meets certain criteria. The team is awarded points for meeting each criterion successfully. This gives us an inside look at an individual team member's natural instincts for interaction on a team. The discussion for greater interaction in the future is not only insightful, but is a sure-fire way to get teams to be more cohesive.
Hostage Rescue
This exciting simulation places your team in another world and reveals the decision-making and problem-solving skills they use in the real world every day! Set in a mythical third world country, this exercise puts your team in a crisis situation that they must resolve with individual and team decisions. During the course of this fast-paced simulation, participants discover their own levels of leadership, communication skills, and empathy.
Space Tower
One of the best ways to learn about the complexities of planning, organizing, problem solving, and decision making under pressure of deadlines is to experience them under simulated conditions. This is the purpose of Space Tower. Participants work in small teams to plan and build a project with internal and external pressures. They can then relate these factors to their own job situation. The exercise shows how leadership emerges, how teams handle challenges, and what emotions unfold from participants from the project conception to completion.
Swamped
The ultimate in "survival exercises," this simulation helps groups understand and improve the fundamental dynamics of teamwork. Through an imaginary wilderness adventure, your team members demonstrate their individual, as well as group, decision-making and problem-solving skills. This exercise judges team effectiveness and whether your team achives the necessary synergy your business needs.
Team Standards & Operating Agreements
What skills and qualities are essential for a championship team? Does your team possess these skills and traits? In this session, participants determine the building blocks of an effective team and evaluate themselves according to these criteria. Teams assess their strengths and areas that need improvement; they then create an action plan and commit to make it happen.
Value Cards
This powerful session helps organizations create a culture for team effectiveness. In an interactive and unique way, we help a team identify its values. Once we have identified what the team values, and what it does not, we take a look at what is actually happening in the organization. Is the team behaving in a way that encompasses what it values? Or are some of the non-valued things getting in the way? Once evaluated, we help the team create a strategy for living what they value everyday.
Various Style Assessments
Assessments are written questionnaires, profiles, or inventories that help a group determine specific tendencies within their team dynamic. Assessments help teams discover their communication and behavioral styles, and how to adapt these styles to achieve optimum effectiveness on the team. An assessment is always given in conjunction with a training session, which breaks down the components of that assessment for the team.
Win As Much As You Can
This is a fast-paced and thought-provoking exercise. It's facilitated with teams of eight people; the best dynamic is to have at least 24 people participating with 3 teams. As a teambuilding exercise, this session gets at the heart of the communication, competition, trust and negotiation that is present on any team. At the conclusion of the exercise, your team is empowered to make a definite correlation between behaviors demonstrated during the activity and behaviors observed in the workplace.
